Whoa - this is bad. Really bad stuff. Terrible. It is just a game where you can find items in a picture. No story - just annoying electronic music and blurred images. I am disappointed. Will ask for a refund.. Very good game. This game is a search and find mainly. When you complete each set of levels you face a different type of challange. Completing that gives you an "Escape Item". It is fairly fun and the different puzzles at the end of each set is a nice change of pace for the game. I ran into an issue with resolution but did find out that if you go into the properties of the application and check the box "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" under the "Compatibility" tab. I played this on windows.. Unfortunately this game DOESN'T WORK FOR MACs anymore. while you can go about contacting popcap for an updateded replacement, STEAM IS STUPID and doesn't want to fix this. So if your considering this game and play on mac don't do it....While it was working its a basic hidden item game with some mini-games between 'missions' to keep it moving a bit, nothing new to the gendre but isn't bad for what it is, just don't expect anything outside of the normal cookie cutter. This is the worst hidden object game I've ever played. It's unimaginative and the same scenes are repeated over and over. I went through this one thinking it had to get better, or it was going to have a great ending -- nope. Complete waste of time and money. The horrifying thing is that two more entries were spawned in this series that are carbon copies with new scenes. Wow!. Excape Rosecliff Island is just a simple hidden object game. The images are atractive and the puzzles are simple but it is a lot of fun. If you like this genre, you'll enjoy Escape Rosecliff Island.
